2/28/06 Report of Child Neglect in 1000 Blk Rose Ave. Forwarded to Child Welfare. 3/1/06 Arrested Michael Taylor, 36, Vernonia for Harassment. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/3/06 Arrested Eric Lawhead, 18, Vernonia on a Washington County warrant for Failure to Appear on DWS. 3/4/06 Report of a Burglary to Lincoln Elementary after a window was broken on a door. 3/8/06 Arson/Reckless Burning at Western Oregon Electric Co. after newspapers were lit on fire by the front doors. The building was occupied at the time. Three suspects ages 11, 13, & 13 were released to a parent or guardian. The case is being referred to the Juvenile Department. 3/9/06 Theft of the "Pay Here" sign from Vernonia Lake. 3/10/06 Arrested David "Pete" Brewer, 45, Vernonia for Disorderly Conduct. Cited and Released to responsible party. 3/12/06 Vandalism to Shay Park and the Washington Grade School playground after someone drove on both properties during the recent snow storm.
