7/31/06 Theft of numerous tools, items, and chainsaw from vehicle in the 700 Blk Spencer Ave. 8/2/06 Theft of riding lawn mower from yard in 18000 Blk Mellinger Rd. Owner later located mower for sale on Craig's List. Owner worked with Portland PD to recover mower. PPD arrested Lena Thi Son for Theft I and for warrants. 8/4/06 Cited David "Pete" Brewer, 46, Vernonia for Probation Violation after contacting Vernonia Justice Court. 8/5/06 Arrested Jesse Ray, 23, Vernonia for Disorderly Conduct and Detox. Lodged at CCSO jail. 8/5/06 Arrested Nathan Cornelius, 21, St. Helens on a Columbia County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Lodged at CCSO. 8/5/06 Car/pedestrian accident by Bridge & Grant. No injuries. 8/6/06 Arrested John Perry, 19, Seaside for Carrying a Concealed Weapon (Brass Knuckles) & MIP. Lodged at CCSO. 8/6/06 Arrested Eric Lawhead, 18, Vernonia for Attempt to Elude and DWS. Lodged at CCSO. 8/7/06 Arrested Gregory Zadrozny, 28, Portland for Assault. Zadrozny subsequently experienced medical problems and was later transported by Life-Flight to Emanuel Hospital were he was released. Zadrozny was later arrested in SE Portland on Felony warrants and probation violations. 8/8/06 Released a sizeable amount of old ammunition to the Oregon State Police Bomb Squad for destruction. All of the ammo had been turned in by citizens to the VPD. 8/10/06 Criminal Mischief at Cedar Side after a small window was broken. 8/11/06 Theft of a cordless drill from a campsite near Anderson Park.
