Mist Dr. 3/13/07 Arrested Stephan Goodwin (25) of McMinnville for Violation of Probation in 1100 Blk Birch St. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/15/07 Credit Card Fraud reported at the police station. 3/16/07 Theft of a black wrought iron bench in 800 Blk Madison Ave. 3/17/07 Arrested Edward Peters (71) of Vernonia for Criminal Trespass in the 1000 Blk Bridge St. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/17/07 Arrested Lonnie Dennis (41) of Vernonia on a Washington County warrant. Lodged at Washington County Jail. 3/19/07 Dangerous Animal report in 500 Blk "A" St. after two stray dogs attacked a cat. One owner was identified, report forwarded to Animal Control. 3/20/07 Arrested Troy Laird (26) of St. Helens on a Municipal Court warrant for Contempt of Court. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/23/07 Assisted Vernonia Rural Fire Department with a large amount of medication to be destroyed. 3/24/07 Possible Probation Violation in the 700 Blk Bridge St. Report forwarded to Vernonia Justice Court. 3/25/07 Arrested Christopher Newby (34) of Portland on a Felony Theft Warrant from Clark County Washington. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/26/07 Arrested Jordan Harrison (20) of Vernonia for DUII, Reckless Driving, and MIP in 1600 Blk Mist Dr. Released to responsible party. 3/26/07 Hit & Run involving a vehicle near Bridge St. and Mist Dr. 3/27/07 Arrested Ronda Atkins-Jeffers (36) of Vernonia for Probation Violation. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 3/29/07 Check Fraud and Theft on a US Bank account. 3/31/07 Theft from Vehicle in 300 Blk "A" St. Several items taken from vehicle Friday night into Saturday morning. Possibly other thefts in the area. If you have information or had a theft during this time frame please call the VPD to report it.
