8/31/07 Dog bite in the 600 blk of California. Report forwarded to animal control. 9/3/07 Theft of a maroon NEXT mountain bike in the 1000 Blk Weed Ave. 9/3/07 Theft in 1000 Blk Weed Ave. when products were mailed to suspect in Texas but payment was never made. 9/4/07 Recovered a stolen vehicle out of St. Helens on Scappoose-Vernonia Hwy just past milepost 1. Released to CCSO who later returned to owner. 9/6/07 Forwarded report to the Oregon State Police regarding a sex offender who had gone out of registration compliance. 9/7/07 Citizen found and turned in a small stainless steel cylinder at Gaston Football Field. Later determined it contained Methamphetamine. 9/13/07 Non-sufficient funds check(s) at Sentry Market. Arrangements made to pay balance. 9/14/07 Arrested Lee Ambercrombe (48) of Astoria in the 700 Blk Jefferson Ave. for Public Detox and for Criminal Mischief. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 9/15/07 Put a Police Officer Hold on male subject after a welfare check in the 300 Blk "A" St. Ambulance transported to St. Vincent's. 9/16/07 Runaway report of male juvenile on "C" Street. Later returned home.
