10/18/04 A female juvenile reported being harassed by a female adult in the area of Bridge St. & Washington Ave. 10/20/04 An officer cited Shawn Iverson, 35, of 1325 Bridge St. for Maintaining a Dog as a Public Nuisance/No Dog License after his dog attacked a neighbor's chickens. 10/20/04 A report was forwarded to Dept. Human Services after a welfare check was done on a juvenile female. 10/22/04 A report was forwarded to Juvenile Services regarding a fight that occurred at Vernonia High School outside the football game. Chris Mathews (17), Julia Williams (16), and James Johnston (16) were all involved. The investigation is on-going and no major injuries were sustained. Mathews was arrested on a Bench Warrant from Juvenile Services. 10/26/04 A report was taken from Public Works of three stop signs that were removed in the area of "E" & State Ave. A 25mph sign was also replaced with a 35mph sign as well. All signs have been corrected. 10/27/04 A resident reported that her vehicle was entered while it was parked in the 400 Blk Bridge St. No appears to be missing. 10/27/04 Clyde Bartlett, 43, homeless, was arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant from Vernonia Justice Court. Bartlett was lodged at the Columbia County Jail. 10/28/04 A 28 year old Vernonia female was taken to detox after she was found to be extremely intoxicated and unable to care for herself. 10/28/04 On a traffic stop, officers arrested Joseph Goodard, 19, of Garibaldi, OR for Possession Controlled Substance and Open Alcohol Container. Goodard was lodged at the Columbia County Jail. 10/30/04 A 22 year old St. Helens female was taken to detox after she was found to be extremely intoxicated near a residence and unable to care for herself.
