033104 VPD assisted DHS on a juvenile problem. VPD Officer transported child to Columbia County Mental Health to be evaluated regarding threats of suicide. 040104 VPD Officer responded to a reported Domestic Violence call on Mist Drive. Investigation reveled this was verbal only and no arrest were made. 040104 A representative of Vernonia Pride reported the theft of a metal Elk Head from the sidewalk trash container located on the corner of Bridge St and Jefferson St. Also a hanging basket was reported stolen. 040504 Vaughn, David owner of the Country Kitchen reported that two 50 ft garden hoses were stolen from the front of the Country Kitchen restaurant during the night of 04/04 no suspect information. 040604 VPD took a theft report where several signs were stolen from around the Vernonia Lake and the Linear Trail. 040804 Troy Schenck of Vernonia was issued a citation for harassment after being involved in a verbal confrontation with four (4) juveniles. 040804 VPD Officer responded to the Blue Heron Apartment complex on a possible attempted suicide. Officer made contact with a female adult who was transported to the Hospital by Metro West Ambulance. 040804 A local citizen came to VPD and reported she had lost her wallet in Vernonia while driving between Rose St and Mist Dr. The wallet fell from atop her vehicle. The wallet was described as brown with a chain attached and engraved with two horse shoes and a saddle. 041104 VPD officer took a report of Criminal Mischief from a citizen who lives on Noakes Rd. An unknown suspect had broken out the rear window of his vehicle that was parked at his residence. 041204 VPD Officer took a theft report from the Washington Grade School Principal where a student stole a teachers cell phone. The phone was recovered and returned to teacher. Report sent to Juvenile Dept. 041204 VPD officer took a report of a theft of a “Gazing Ball” from the yard of a citizen who lives on 1st Ave, in Vernonia. 040804 A Vernonia Police Officer responded to a suicide attempt at 664 California Ave. The resident was transported to St. Vincent Hospital. 041204 A Vernonia resident 409 Rose Ave. Reported that she placed her wallet on top of her vehicle and drove off. Forgetting that the wallet was on top of her car. 041404 Senior Center employee reported having found a small baggie containing Marijuana in a purse that had been donated to the Senior Center |
