5/19/04 Male juvenile was cited for MIP Tobacco 5/22/04 The Vernonia Police Dept., is investigating damage to a Bull Dozer belonging to NW Road Builders. The Bull Dozer was parked at the Vernonia Lake overnight between 052104 & 052204. Anyone with information regarding this incident, please contact the Vernonia Police Dept., at 503-429-7335. 5/22/04 VPD Officers arrested Roy E Smith of Buxton, Or on a warrant for his arrest following a traffic stop. Mr. Smith was lodged at CCSO. 5/23/04 Jolene M Shaw of Vernonia was transported to CCSO where she was lodged for Disorderly Conduct and PCS. 5/23/04 Rosetta H Shaw of Portland was transported to CCSO where she was lodged for Disorderly Conduct resulting from a disturbance at the Vernonia Lake. 5/25/04 VPD took a report of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. On 052604 Portland PD recovered the vehicle and the owner was notified. 5/26/04 VPD is investigating a Criminal Mischief complaint that occurred at 1921 Mist Dr. 5/27/04 VPD took a theft report which is currently under investigation. 5/23/04 Officer took a theft report from a Taxi Cab Driver who brought a person from the Cornelius area to Vernonia. The male passenger left without paying the fair. Currently under investigation.
