8/5/04 At approximately 11:08pm investigated a domestic argument between a male and female resident. No police action was taken but a report was written. 8/7/04 At approximately 11:40am investigated a motor vehicle accident where three motorcycles participating in the Jamboree Parade collided. A possible mechanical malfunction caused a motorcycle driven by Donald Robertson of Aloha to strike a second motorcycle driven by Greg Kirkland of West Linn, which then struck a third motorcycle driven by Steven Aerne of Hillsboro. All three drivers sustained minor injuries including Aerne's 8 year old daughter who was a passenger. 8/7/04 At approximately 2:30am, investigated a fight outside the Lion's Den Bar. A 46 year old Vernonia man was injured during a fight. The incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made. 8/8/04 At approximately 8:40pm investigated a Disorderly Conduct on the Rock Creek Bridge. Desmond Hines (26) of Vernonia was arrested and taken to the CCSO Jail. 8/9/04 At approximately 2:05pm, investigated a Shoplifting at the Mini-Mart. A 15yr old Kelso, WA male was referred to Juvenile Services for Theft charges. 8/11/04 At approximately 8:15pm, conducted a Welfare Check on a family camping at Airport Park. No action was necessary.
