1/4/05 A resident reported a possible sex abuse on California Ave. The investigation continues with the aid of other agencies. 1/5/05 Arrested Lyle Matthews, 39, of Vernonia for a Columbia County warrant and lodged at the jail. 1/6/05 A resident reported a possible theft of cash. The investigation is on-going. 1/14/05 Arrested Troy Ostrander, 37, of Vernonia on a Multnomah County Warrant. Transported and lodged in Columbia County Jail. 1/15/05 A male resident reported being assaulted by a female subject in the 700 Blk Bridge St. 1/16/05 Investigated a possible Animal Abuse in the 800 Blk 3rd Ave. Case will be forwarded to DA.
