01-31-05 Took a report of a dog bite in the 800 Blk Jefferson Ave. The incident was referred to Columbia County Animal Control. 2/1/05 Took a report of abandoned vehicles at Adams Ave. & Maple St. Owner removed vehicles from property. 2/1/05 Took a report of a theft from the Bridge St. Mini Mart. The case was referred to the Juvenile Department. 2/2/05 Took male subject into custody for a Civil Detox in the area of Bridge St. & Jefferson Ave. 2/3/05 Warned a male subject against Trespassing at 737 Bridge St. 2/3/05 Took a report of possible Child Abuse in the 400 Blk of Rose Ave. The report was forwarded to Child & Family Services. 2/4/05 Assisted CCSO with an Assault report that occurred just outside of Vernonia. 2/4/05 Picked up a juvenile female at Bridge St. & Washington Ave. who was planning to run away. The juvenile was later released to her mother. 2/4/05 Took a male subject into custody in the 800 Blk Madison Ave. for a mental evaluation at Emanuel Hospital. 2/5/05 Assisted CCSO with a Restraining Order Violation that occurred outside the city limits. 2/8/05 A resident in the 600 Blk California reported a suspicious male subject was Trespassing on their property. 2/9/05 Arrested Joseph McKinnis, 27, of Vernonia on a warrant from Clackamas County and Canby Muni Court for Failure to Appear. 2/11/05 Arrested Joseph Bozied, 33, of Vernonia for Assault in the 1300 Blk Cherry St. 2/14/05 Assisted CCSO with a one vehicle roll-over accident at mile post #1 on Scappoose/Vernonia Rd.
