2/14/05 Filed a report of Jake Mothershed (17) & Casey Loving (17), both of Vernonia for Curfew Violation and MIP. Report forwarded to Juvenile Department. 2/14/05 Took a report of abandoned vehicle in 100 Blk "A" St. The vehicle was flagged and towed the next day. 2/17/05 Recovered some missing property on "B" St. that had been taken for safe-keeping by a neighbor. 2/18/05 Arrested Craig Bond (55) of Vernonia on a Umatilla County warrant for Failure to Appear. Transported to CCSO Jail. 2/19/05 Took a report on Distribution of a Controlled Substance to Minors/Endangering in the area of Grant Ave. & Bridge St. The incident is still under investigation with arrests pending. 2/21/05 Took a report in the 800 Blk E. Bridge St. on an Internet Fraud. The victim reported several accounts were opened on-line with their information. 2/23/05 Assisted OSP with a Felony Arrest at Bridge St. & Grant Ave. on Nicholas J. Bernard (36) of Portland. Bernard was arrested at gunpoint on a Felony Traffic Stop due to an Attempted Murder caution on the warrant. Bernard was followed up Hwy 47 by an ODOT employee until contact was made by Vernonia Police. Bernard was released to OSP officers and transported to the Washington County Jail. 2/27/05 Took a report from a resident on Riverside Dr. regarding the theft of a small safe. The investigation continues. 2/28/05 Took a report of a Sexual Assault on a Child that allegedly occurred in the Summer of 2002. The investigation continues into the allegation.
