7/18/05 Arrested Adams Haynes, 18, of Vernonia for Assault IV. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 7/18/05 Report of Theft of a camera bag from a camper at Anderson Park. Anyone with information should call 503-429-7335. 7/18/05 Report of a possible Identity Theft from a resident. 7/18/05 Report of Telephonic Harassment between two residents. 7/18/05 Arrested Donald Elliott, 49, of Vernonia for Trespassing II & Probation Violation in the 400 Blk Rose Ave. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 7/20/05 Report of Missing Juvenile, later located and returned home. 7/21/05 Report of Juvenile Situation in 1300 Blk Knott St. Referred to Child Welfare. 7/21/05 Report of Criminal Mischief to playground equipment and other property of the city. Juvenile admitted to graffiti and arranged to clean it. Case forwarded to Juvenile Dept. 7/24/05 Report of Furnishing Alcohol & possibly Drugs to Minors and Reckless Endangering in 1000 Blk of Rose Ave. Case is still under investigation. 7/28/05 Report of Delivery of Controlled Substance & Endangering Minor. Case still under investigation. 1/31/05 On or about January of this year several interpretive signs were damaged along Webb Way and Vernonia Lake. After receiving a tip on the identity of the suspects in case Vernonia Officers questioned them and received confessions. Male (15), Male (14), Male (13), and Male (13) were all referred to the Juvenile Department. Recommendations have been made that all four juveniles assist in the rebuilding of the signs, pay restitution for the damages, and perform at least 50 hours of community service.
