National Night Out 2005 Huge Success
August 2, 2005 -- Vernonia's 1st every National Night Out was a great
success. Estimates of attendance ranged from 450 to 500 people. Attendees
were treated to free BBQ, Free ice cream, free prizes, and free music.
More importantly, the citizens of Vernonia sent a clear message that they
are united with their police department against crime and violence. The
evening when very well other then some delays with the food and the fact
that we ran out twice!
