08/3/05 Assisted with traffic control for Vernonia Rural Fire Department at Hwy 47 & Stoney Point Rd on a house fire. 8/3/05 Arrested Derrick Lyons, 18, of St. Helens for Probation Violation. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 8/4/05 Transferred quantity of old ammunition to OSP Bomb Squad for destruction. 8/6/05 Report of Trespassing at Leonetti's when they found an intoxicated male subject inside the building when they opened for business. Owner chose not to pursue charges. 8/6/05 Arrested Kasey Carter, 21, of Washington after a fight with his brother. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 8/6/05 Report of an Assault on the Rock Creek Bridge involving five males. The case is still under investigation. 8/6/05 Arrested Willard Jones, 43, of Portland for Domestic Assault near North & State St. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 8/7/05 Arrested John Griffin, 35, Castle Rock, WA for Disorderly Conduct at 900 Madison Ave. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 8/8/05 Took report of MIP alcohol in the 400 Blk "A" St. Case is under investigation. 8/9/05 Did a welfare check on a juvenile on Jefferson Ave. 8/9/05 Investigated a Furnishing to Minors and Reckless Endangerment case stemming from an incident at Grant & Bridge St. 8/9/05 Report of an argument in the 1100 Blk of Cougar St. An adult male was taken in for Detox. 8/9/05 Report of a Furnishing Alcohol to Minor in the 1100 Blk of Cougar. Case is still under investigation. 8/10/05 Two VPD officer assisted in a Columbia County Saturation patrol on Hwy 30 and in the area of Rockfest at Columbia Meadows. In addition to conducting several traffic stops the VPD K9 conducted several narcotics searches and found several quatities of narcotics. These hours were funded by DUII and Seatbelt Grant Funds from the state. 8/11/05 Report of a Theft of Companion Animal from Anderson Park. The case is still under investigation. 8/11/05 Report of a Welfare Check and Attempt to Locate an adult male subject from Anderson Park. Still under investigation. 8/13/05 Welfare Check on female subject in the area of Rose & Columbia St. 8/13/05 Report of Switched Plates on a motor vehicle at Anderson Park. 8/13/05 Report of Vandalism on Arkansas Ave. No suspects as of yet. 8/13/05 Arrested Ricky Bartholomew, 34, of Vernonia for Probation Violation out of Columbia County. Lodged at CCSO Jail. 8/13/05 Arrested Terry Jones, 48, of Vernonia for Assault IV & DUII after an incident in the 400 Blk "A" St.
