Police Blotter: 11/15/2008

11/4/08: Took a report of Criminal Mischief (Spray Painting of Building) near Anderson Park. Report sent to Columbia County Juvenile Department for review. 
11/4/08: Several Firearms brought in to the Police Department for Safekeeping. 
11/5/08: Andrew L. Lewis (18) referred to Columbia County District Attorneys Office for Interfering with a Peace Officer during a joint investigation with DHS for Narcotics Violations near the grade school. 
11/10/08: Started the Nuisance Abatement Process on a residence in the 200 block of A street.
11/10/08: Started a second Nuisance Abatement Process on a second residence in the 200 block of A street. Recovered a stolen vehicle out of Portland while conducting the investigation. Vehicle returned to the owner.
11/11/08: Investigated a vehicle striking a juvenile near the intersection of Bridge and Jefferson street. Juvenile transported by Ambulance. Report forwarded to the District Attorneys Office for review.
11/15/08: Investigated a Non-Injury motor vehicle crash near the intersection of Mist and Bridge street. 
11/15/08: Investigated several painted graffiti symbols to include swaztikas under the Rock Creek Bridge. 
11/17/08: Nuisance Abatement Process started on a residence on State Avenue. 
11/17/08: Nuisance Abatement Process started on a residence in the 1200 block of 2nd avenue.
